We can stop the electric car mandate, but we need YOU to show up!

The Board of Environmental Protection (BEP) just announced they will hold a public hearing next Thursday at the Augusta Civic Center. The BEP will hear from Mainers, and then take a vote to decide on their adoption of the “California Rules” – forcing Mainers to buy electric cars whether we like it or not.

The odds are stacked against us. Environmental special interests have pushed this rule through a loophole in Maine law, and the BEP has already signaled their willingness to support them.

The only thing that will stop this is a massive turnout from the vast majority of Mainers who do not want Augusta telling them what to drive.

The public hearing starts at 8am Thursday. Please tell your friends and neighbors about this, share it on social media, and help us make our voice as loud as possible.

Let’s show up in force and tell Augusta that Mainers deserve THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE what we drive.

What: Meeting of the Board of Environmental Protection
When: December 21, 2023, at 8:00 a.m.
Where: Augusta Civic Center, 76 Community Drive, Augusta, Maine 04330
